Nachamu, nachamu
During these historic times that we are living through together, I ask you to stop, breathe, and remember that none of us run the world
There are very few shopping days until Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur! The #1 thing we are all going to ask for this year is – life.
Write me into the “Book of Life.”
Give me more time.
And G-d is asking back, “What are you going to do with it?”
Last year before Rosh Hashana, my husband and I and two other couples took the time to make our plan to answer the question: Where did we want to be at this time next year in the most important aspects of our lives?
Because if you don’t know where you are going, G-d can’t get you there.
Why would The Almighty send you opportunities, wise people, and resources if you would pass them by or not utilize them properly?
The results of this work were nothing short of phenomenal, and one of them is happening this coming week, as, G-d willing, we walk our daughter, Malkie, to the chuppah.
Here is a link to the worksheets.
Don’t forget to set yourself up for success by making sure you are accountable, so your action steps towards your goals happen. I suggest you get a Momentum Sister or Brother to be your partner in this, meeting monthly to keep each other on track.
I will be thinking of all of you on Thursday as we stand under the chuppah in deep gratitude for all that Hashem has bestowed upon us. May he shower you with blessings too.
Good Shabbos, Shabbat Shalom–
Lori

Environmentalism is not a new political agenda: rather, it is a deeply Jewish concept! The Torah shows us that we have an obligation to tend, repair, and protect the world. Not only do the Jewish people have the opportunity to rest, but our land does too.
