I’ve been in Tel Aviv for the past few days exploring the city on my own and with friends. I know there’s so much more to the city than what meets the eye and I want to know more. I am ready to learn – with my eyes, my mind and my soul wide open. I’ve made the physical journey here but I’m excited to start the emotional and educational journey that starts later today. In the few days I’ve been here, I notice little things – like the shelter sign on my floor at the hotel. The mixed architecture of old and new. The delicious food, fresh fruit and veggies and of course iced coffee. At dinner at a cafe in old Jaffa, I hear Israeli music on the lively streets and part of me wants to join.
When we meet downstairs for our first momentum event I’m excited but at the same time overwhelmed with all the new faces that surround me. Once the nerves wear off I realize it’s now – or never. It is now that I need to be all in to get the most I can out if the journey. Looks like everyone is all in as I – along with everyone else – got our first taste of Israeli dancing! What will my journey be? I’m ready !!!

At Driving to Greatness, the MoMENtum Men’s Retreat in Orlando, Florida, we got real about our lives and our potential – and put ourselves in the driver’s seat. With educators Charlie Harary, Ari Shabat, and Harry Rothenberg as our guides, we tackled how to handle failures and setbacks, bounce back, and succeed the way we want to.
