Upon reflection, day four was almost surreal
A day packed with activities, we don’t know how to feel
We started with camel rides, pita, and yoga too
Nothing like playing and hobbies to make you feel new
We had an amazing group discussion about unity
And talked about bringing this back to our own community
Several members without Hebrew names were honored to receive
And stories of their meaning helped us all to believe
Next we went to the Dead Sea to float and just be
The water was warm and we were weightless and free
The water tasted awful and felt slippery too
And with the mud, we had a dark-colored hue
We ended the day at Masada, whew it was hot
An amazing history lesson and I learned lessons that were not
We met a rabbi that reads and writes up there every day
And rode the tram to make the climb easier, hooray
What an amazing blessing to be touring this land
And the desert passed expectations, if not for the sand
We ended our day at the Shuk with dinner and drinks
And then crawled into our beds for some much-needed winks
