After months and months of planning, I finally arrived in Israel. It’s surreal as it is my first time here. I’m trying to take it all in – just being in a faraway land. Soaking up the culture and the differences between here and home.
As I prepared for my trip, I told myself being away for so long and so far would be easy. I travel a lot, so this is just like all my other trips. But I think as it got closer, there was a part of me wondering how I can leave my home, my family and my work for so long? At this point, I have no choice but to move forward and be all in. I want to enjoy the journey. That’s my goal for the next 8 days – enjoy the journey. Simple right? I don’t know what it will bring, what I will learn, or what I will see but I know I’m going to enjoy it!
