This is a very special time in the Jewish calendar, as we are now less than four weeks until Rosh Hashana and Yom Kippur.
Trust me; it will be much easier to be ready than not.
Judaism teaches us that Elul is an acronym for “Ani l’Dodi, v’Dodi Li,” “I am to my beloved, as my beloved is to me.” It is a saying from the Song of Songs, written by King Solomon, and often quoted at weddings and engraved on rings. On the surface, it does speak about the love between a man and a woman. But on a deeper level, it is the ultimate love between G-d and the Jewish people.
When Elul comes, we reconnect with our Creator, rekindle love, and renew this most precious relationship.

This year I decided we will have an “all vaccinated” Purim seudah in our home and began inviting friends who I knew had had their shots. But alas, the Ministry of Health has just declared that this too will not happen.
When Howard Kaplin arrived in Israel for the first time, he was hopeful that he would understand the life-changing experience his wife enjoyed during her MOMentum Trip.
